Protection modules move to three simple levels, reports finally keep the whole message, and your server gets more ticket panels, a Departures module and a level leaderboard.
Setting up an anti-raid by hand meant picking a number of joins, a window in seconds and an account age. Too low, and Protector punished normal members. Too high, and a raid got through.
This update replaces all those numbers with one clear choice, and fixes what you reported to us. Here is what changes:
Three severity levels
Anti-raid, anti-spam, coordinated raids, anti-nuke, risk score, AI moderation, anti-NSFW and staff protection: each module is now set to Relaxed, Balanced or Strict. Balanced keeps the recommended settings.
Relaxed cuts false positives on large communities, Strict reacts earlier on small targeted servers. Choose from the dashboard or with /config, and /autoconfig picks the right level for you.
The Protector team alerted when it really matters
A server on Strict triggers Protector earlier, but our inspectors are not called for it: they only get an alert when an attack goes beyond the normal thresholds. They stay available for real emergencies.
When the owner's own account triggers an alert, Protector cannot punish it. It warns the owner in a private message that their account may be compromised, with the steps to take right away.
Complete reports
A reported message now comes with all of its content: the full text, embeds, images, attached files, stickers and forwarded messages. A text that is too long is attached as a file, nothing is cut.
Reports made from the Protector app no longer show an unknown author or an empty message.
Categories in exceptions
Excluded channels of a module now accept whole categories. All their channels are covered, even ones created later.
Put your tickets in a category excluded from anti-spam or the link filter: a member sharing a link in a brand new ticket will no longer see it deleted.
New Departures module
Announce when a member leaves in the channel of your choice, with your own message. The {user}, {server} and {count} variables work just like for welcome messages.
Several ticket panels Premium
Create one panel for support, one for recruitment, one for partnerships: 3 panels with Premium, 5 with Premium Plus.
Each panel has its own title, color, button and reasons, and can put its tickets in its own category. Post it from the dashboard or with /ticket panel.
Manage XP and see the leaderboard
The /xp command adds, removes or sets a member's XP, and their reward roles follow their level. /leaderboard shows the server's top 10.

The dashboard updates itself
Just added Protector to a server? It shows up in My servers within seconds, without logging out and back in.

For those who like the details:
- "Protector left a server" log: when Protector restarts, servers left during the downtime show their name, owner and member count again, and the total is right.
- Reports: the form answers in time, even with large attachments, instead of showing "The application did not respond".
- Numeric thresholds are gone from /config and the dashboard: your old settings are replaced by the Balanced level.
- Stability: a very large image checked by anti-NSFW could fill the memory and make Protector restart. The check now uses 4 times less memory and is almost 3 times faster. Anti-nuke backups of every server are no longer kept in memory all the time: Protector reads them when it needs them, which frees almost half of its memory.
