Protector now speaks German

German joins English, French and Spanish: the bot, the website and the documentation, everywhere.

German-speaking communities asked for it. From today, Protector can run your server entirely in German.

On Discord

Open /config, click Language and pick Deutsch: every message, panel, alert and log Protector writes on the server switches to German.

The /autoconfig setup and the server builder also offer German.

On the website

The language menu at the top of protector-bot.com now offers Deutsch: dashboard, documentation, setup guide, changelog, security tips and legal pages are all translated.

Fixes

Also in this release:

• A ticket panel with a very long title could no longer be posted: the title is now shortened to what Discord accepts.
• Reporting a message with text instead of an image link in the evidence field failed: the text is now kept as a note.
• Reading text in images no longer raises an error when an image is too slow to download.
• The Protector page on top.gg now shows the real number of servers and the up-to-date command list, updated automatically.
• YouTube, Twitch and TikTok notifications could stop for hours after a restart: the check now restarts by itself, and a video older than two days is never announced as new.
• Protector could freeze for over a minute right after a restart and look disconnected: its startup clean-up now takes a fraction of a second.
