Here is what is new in Protector. You will also find it all in /config and on the dashboard, module by module.
Until now, Protector kept your server safe. Now it brings it to life too. Levels, voice channels that open by themselves, announcements from your favourite creators, auto responses… and even a Protector dressed in your server's colours.
Get comfy, here is everything landing in this update:
Levels
Every message earns XP, and voice too if you turn it on. No cheating: a message stopped by the filters (spam, scam) earns nothing.
The new /level command shows a member's card: avatar, username, level, rank and progress bar. Level-ups are announced wherever you want, with your own text, and can give reward roles.
Temporary voice channels
Join a creator channel and boom: Protector opens your own voice channel, and deletes it as soon as it is empty.
Its owner gets a panel: open, closed or private, whitelist and blacklist, purge, mic, video, soundboards, transfer and save for next time. 1 creator channel free, 4 with Premium, unlimited with Premium Plus.
YouTube, Twitch and TikTok notifications
A new video, a stream going live? Protector announces it in the channel of your choice, with a role to mention and your message.
Following an account does not dig up its old videos, and a stream is never announced twice. 1 account free, all your accounts with Premium.
Auto responses
"What's the server IP?" for the fiftieth time today? A word or a phrase, an answer: Protector takes care of it.
Never @everyone or a role mention, and nothing for a message stopped by the filters. 5 responses free, 10 with Premium, 20 with Premium Plus.
Protector in your colours Premium
On your server, Protector takes the nickname, avatar, banner and bio you choose. Everywhere else, it stays itself.
Images go through the anti-NSFW filter, and the bot goes back to its own look by itself when the plan ends.
But wait, there's more
For those of you who love the details:
- Level card background (Premium): just like the welcome card, checked by the anti-NSFW filter.
- Dashboard: voice channels show up in the settings, and every new tool has its own page with its variables explained.
- Event log: temporary channels do not clutter it.
- Dashboard: a module that is turned off now says so, with a button to turn it on, and the bot's appearance is edited by clicking straight on its profile.
- Anti-nuke: when one of your bots, placed above Protector, performs destructive actions, you get a button in your DMs to add it to the whitelist. No more alerts or punishments for a trusted bot.
- Anti-bypass: the word filter now also catches “b.r.e.a.d”, look-alike letters from other alphabets and invisible characters, and enforces the words from your Discord AutoMod rules. Settings saved on the website arrive within seconds, and trusted webhooks can be whitelisted.
